How to get better results by using 80-20 rule? | What is 80-20 rule?

🙋🏻 Hello! Hi! Namaste!

We really appreciate your love for our blogs & other contents.. ❤ Thank you all !!!

Okay! Now, I like to share something.. Something related with the exams & preparation..! 😅

Yaa.. Exams...!!! 😄

Many of the students don't like to read..

Imagine this story :

There are two college girls Kiran & Dhara. After 2 months, they have exams. Both don't like to read. They didn't pay much attention during the lecture even. So, they have to start reading a little bit before 1 Or 2 months. Right?

Dhara was making notes of each questions. Kiran hates writing & she doesn't want to waste time in writing.

When exam days started, Dhara could easily revise everything twice or trice & still she have the time to take a look on old paper & solve them too. Kiran didn't make notes, she only solved previous papers.

What do you think? Who has got better marks?

DHARA

She revised everything twice. Everything was in her mind. So, she was quick to solve previous papers also. She had knew that nothing is left. And, in the morning, she took a look on her notes twice before going for exam.

Do you understand the importance of notes?

Notes which seems time wasting process to Kiran. But.. In reality,it was giving better results.

Now, we can understand 80-20 rule easily.

Making notes is 20% work,

(Because it consumes time & energy)

But it give 80% results..

(At the end of the day, it saved time & they could revise easily)

Same applies on many things..

There are 20% works gives 80% results.
And,
There are 80% works give 20% results.

There are some examples:

Works - Results
Our 20% of works brings 80% of results.

Problem - Overthinking
There are 20% of problems become 100% because of overthinking.

Self confidence - Knowledge
If you have 80% self confidence, 20% knowledge is enough to share even.
But, if you have 20% self confidence, you may be not able to share to the crowd even if you have 80% of knowledge.

Waste - Invest
When you spend 2 to 3 hours in planning for whole week, this 10% time saves your 90% of time. So, it's not waste of time, it's investment of time.

Short term - Long term
You're doing something now, it may seem unimportant today (in short run), but it can give good results tomorrow (in long run)

You may think that.. It is time consuming process now.

But it will be proved time saver in future.

Just look an another example...

You plan for your whole week, You may take 2 to 3 hours in planning whole your week.

It may seem, you are wasting 2 to 3 hours. Instead of that, you could complete some work.

But, it will help you to manage your whole week with more productivity.

You're spending your time in making this plan. It is not waste of time, it is investment of time.

The return of this investment will save your time & energy for whole week.

So, Do those 20% of work first, to get 80% of results.

Best of luck buddy!! ❤
